MOONCAKE FESTIVAL

   The only one different I celebrate mooncake festival in this year is I cant celebrate this festival with my family . I come from Malaysia . I went to Singapore to continue my studies , this is the new Journey in my life . The biggest changed in this 18 years in my life. So , I can just celebrate by myself . The festival is drop on 8th Sept . Actually , Mooncake Festival is a traditional celebration of chinese .
   Lunar calendar in August 15, is China's traditional Mid-Autumn festival. At this time is the middle of  a year autumn , so called Mid-Autumn festival. As early as the Tang dynasty Mid-Autumn festival officially became a festival, is China's second largest after Spring Festival 。This festival has been more than thousand years of history.
  The Mid-Autumn festival the moon is lively, round, this day was seen as the symbol of family reunion, therefore, also known as " Reunion festival". In addition to the Chinese regions, the Mid-Autumn festival is also celebrated by the Korean peninsula, Japan, Vietnam  traditional festival .I never talking about the story behind the festival because this is very common in our mind already. Everyone must knew the goddess of the moon ( Chang-Ngo) .
                                              

 


  Nowaday , younger people thought eating moon cakes to celebrate Mid-Autumn festival is a very old-fashioned . Therefore, the traditional will soon disappear . But , I really like the traditional to celebrate all festival , this is very harmony and blissful celebration with our family. We can sit down and put down our work and just enjoy the glorious full moon ， talk with each other , enjoy tea and mooncake . Nowaday , the mooncake not only one flavor .The people change the flavor of the mooncake such as red bean , yam , durian , strawberry and more. The pie crust also change to jelly and snowny crust   .Besides, they also bring out the new pattern of the shape and pattern of the mooncake. This change of the mooncake's flavor can attracts more younger people to taste the mooncake and change their mind set .


     

 Today, played by the customs  has been far from the old . But a banquet to celebrate this festival is very popular, people enjoy the wine and look at the moon , celebrate the good life, or wish distant relatives and friends healthy, happy, and best wishes to them .The younger people will 'celebrate' this festival by internet and any social network . They will send a lot of wishes by text .  There have a lot of custom of the Mid-Autumn festival , even  forms are differents, but still with people's life of infinite love and longing for a better life.
